Description
Fomabrom Variant Darkroom Paper (111 gloss) is a variable-contrast fibre based black and white enlarging paper on a 180gsm Baryta paper base. Its contrast can be varied to a large extent from extra soft up to ultra hard by using standard multi-grade filters at exposure. Features of Variant 111 is a clean white paper base and deep blacks. Warmer tones can be achieved with warm tone developers such as Ilford Harman Warm Tone and Moersch Eco 4812 while cooler tones can be got with Moersch SE3 Cold developer.
The Fomabrom Variant (111 gloss) has broadly similar characteristics to Ilfords Multigrade Classic Gloss Fibre Based paper.

Fomaspeed Variant 313 (Velvet) is a variable-contrast neutral tone resin-coated paper with a white base. The paper is distinguished by a beautiful velvet-like surface. It provides a wide contrast range, with possible results ranging from ranging from ultra-hard to extra-soft contrast. The Chloro-Bromide emulsion results in traditional warm tones, making it a beautiful paper for portraits but equally good for most other purposes. This paper responds beautifully to toning and Lith printing.
